State Representative Kyle Moore was proud to welcome the Quincy Notre Dame Boys Basketball Team to the Capitol and recognize their outstanding accomplishments during the 2024–2025 season.
The Raiders completed a remarkable 32–2 season, finishing second in the IHSA Class 2A State Championship—the best state finish in program history. Their incredible run to the state championship game showcased the team’s talent, discipline, and determination, while bringing pride and excitement to the Quincy community and across the 99th District.
“Their journey to the state finals game brought pride and excitement to the entire community,” said Rep. Moore. “I could not be more proud to have this team a part of the 99th district and know that they have set a new standard for the future of QND basketball.”
Rep. Moore also recognized Head Coach Altmix, the assistant coaches, and the families and supporters who played a vital role in the team’s success. Their leadership and dedication helped guide the Raiders through a historic season that will be remembered for years to come.
