“When the majority party in the General Assembly created programs to pay for healthcare for non-citizens Republicans spoke out and warned that the costs would be astronomical…and Republicans were right. A recent audit of the programs found thousands of improper enrollments and massive cost overruns.
I wasn’t in the General Assembly to speak against creating these programs, but this spring I am calling for them to be shut down so we can do a better job funding the programs we should be, like Meals on Wheels and Veterans assistance.” -Rep Moore
